COWEN
MANUFACTURING
Once bees make their honey, the beekeeper needs to harvest the honey from the beehives and from the individual frames. The bees protect the honey by capping the honeycomb with wax. After these cappings are removed, the honey can be spun out of the frames using centrifugal force.
The honey extracting process can be tedious, and over the years, Hackenberg Apiaries has sought out the best machinery to make this work easy and efficient. Hackenberg Apiaries extracts its own honey and
provides extracting services to other beekeepers using Cowen Manufacturing Inc. extractors and Cowens other honey production products to get the most honey out of each frame while minimizing extracting time and labor. Cowen manufactures a wide range of extractors and extracting equipment to meet the needs of almost any size beekeeping operation.
David E. Hackenberg is also a distributor of Cowen extractors and would gladly answer any questions you may have about Cowens extracting equipment.
