General Meeting Minutes 04.12.14 @ Monash Park Tea Rooms – 7pm

Minutes from previous meeting were circulated.  Moved K Thomas/sec E Haynes that they be a true and accurate record.

Business Arising from Minutes:

• Uniforms- awaiting date for fittings with Custom Clothing.  PDFNL approved the design
  
  
• Australia Day nomination submitted to Shire
  
  
• Repairs made to netball rings
  
  
• Monash Park keys returned
  
   Treasurer:  Report tabled by T Sutton.  Moved T Sutton/sec M Read that report be accepted

   GENERAL BUSINESS
  
   PDFNL:  V Sutton & I Gillett returned to PDFNL Board.  2015 proposed draw has been issued.  JNC have Easter as a bye round. AGM motions were all defeated.  Netball may move to compulsory coaching accreditations.  Interleague v Farrer in Wagga.  State Netball League:  Zoe Stephens, Paige Nash & Kiara Keating were successful and will play in Shepp. over Jan/Feb.  Registration will be ‘online’ this season but will await further instructions.
  
   UMPIRE:  K Thomas to organise another day with Anne Castles before the season begins
  
   COACHES:  Thank you and congratulations to the members who have been appointed coaches for 2015.

   EQUIPMENT:  T Sutton to follow up fridge repairs
  
   FUNDRAISING:  Thanks to M Read, J Barlow, K Purcell, K Thomas, M Mauger & T Sutton for selling tickets @ IGA.  Takings were $1300.  Winners:  1st:  S Marshall, 2nd:  G Portbury, 3rd K Angove.  Winners to be shown in SRN, Facebook and town notice board.
  
  V Sutton would like a letter to thanks to C & K Thomas for their assistance in the sheep venture.
  
   COURTS:  Executive to meet with JSC to begin plans for new courts.
  
   BY-LAWS:  K Thomas & T Rorato to compile
  
   11UNDER:  Concern that the current uniforms may be too big for the players.  K Thomas to do stocktake and give small uniforms to girls to try for size.
  
   SPONSOR:  A new sponsor has come on board and the offer of having their name on the pole pads was discussed.  K Thomas to check with NV to see if this is ok.
  
   COACHES & EXECUTIVE MEETING:  to be held after Christmas – Jan 11th or 12th
  
   NEXT MEETING:  5TH February 2015 @ 7pm
