Minutes of Meeting held February 27th 2014 at Monash Park

GENERAL BUSINESS
PDFNL: On new registration forms you need to supply more information, must supply an email address, if you don’t have one you need to put Jerilderie Netball Club’s email address [email protected]. Interleague is going to be held in Tocumwal, trying to get both football and netball on the same day.
The start times for all grades are as follows:
10:00am – U15’s and U11’s
11:10am – U17’s and U13’s
12:30pm – A Grade and C Grade
2:00pm – B Grade and C Reserve
Coaches/Teams: Junior Teams have been organised by age. We still need C Reserve, U11’s and Net Set Go Coaches. We have enough players for 4 senior grades. Juniors will be training on Fridays when it is a home game.
Senior Training will be as follows:
Tuesday March 5th – Training
Friday March 7th – Registration at 6pm and Training at 6:30pm
Tuesday March 12th – Training
Friday March 14th – Squad Selections at 6pm
From March 19th Regular Training Tuesday and Thursday
Junior Training will be as follows:
Friday March 7th – Registration and Training from 5:30pm
Coaches will advise future training schedule on Registration Night
There will be a gold coin donation BBQ dinner at the Registration Night
Pre-Season: We have had a really great pre-season, a really good turnout.
Uniforms: Uniforms will be available to purchase at Registration Night. You can also purchase them after Registration Night, just need to get in contact with one of the executives or email [email protected]. The cost for the set is $120 or $60 for a top or $60 for a skirt. There is a second hand uniform for sale $50.
Equipment: Going to purchase game day balls, cones and bibs
Repairs – Courts and Buildings: The league assessed the grounds and were very pleased. C Grade court is being fixed by Gekko and Jerilderie Shire
Canteen: Canteen roster will be organised once teams have been organised
Umpires: We do not have enough umpires especially for A Grade. May look at paying badged umpires or getting badged umpires from out of town. In regards to the Level 1 Umpires Course, you must register and pay 1 week before the course starts. All juniors to sit the theory test online
Sponsorship/Fundraising: The sponsorship letters have been sent out. A fundraising committee is to be formed at the next meeting to coordinate major events. For fundraising there are ideas of having a spinning wheel/100 Club, or sell goal difference tickets, organising for the next Open Garden Days to put the money raised towards the netball courts. The lamb fattening enterprise is cancelled as it is too late to go ahead with it.
The social calendar so far is as follows:
12th of April Rd 2 V’s Strathmerton – Club rooms
26th of April Rd 4 V’s Tocumwal – Sporties
10th of May Rd 6 V’s Berrigan – Sponsors Day (this may be around Pink day as well, unsure when it is)
26th of July Rd 16 V’s Deni Rovers – Ball weekend
13th of September – Presentation Day/Evening. It will be a combined event for both football and netball juniors and seniors
Member Concerns: Michelle – In regards to Thursday night dinners, the grades will just be taking it in turns
Tiffany – Need to upgrade the Netball Club website to show all previous minutes. We have gotten some quotes for the bus to get to the Vixens/Firebirds game; we could maybe look at going on train. Thinking that the netball club could put some money towards the trip e.g. dividends
Kellie – We still need a cleaner
